HULL
BUILDING STRONGBACK

The hull frameing is setup on a Strongback built of 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" and 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" common lumber - 2 x 4 and 2 x 6. Do not use pressure treated lumber - It warps. The below drawings represent the Profile and Plan views supplied in the plan package.

Below is the finished Building Frame. Since we need to get the building frame out of the basement the main bedlog is the only part of the structure actually secured together. All the upright members, which will locate the transverse frames are show in place - Not secured to the main bedlog. #12 Sheetmetal screws are used throughout to secure parts together.

The next two pictures show Transverse Frames One and Two setup on the building frame uprights.

The last two pictures of the Building Frame details the construction of the upright members on which the transverse frame are attached
