SAILBOAT KITS
EXTERIOR PROFILE

SAILBOAT-KITS-EXTERIOR-PROFILE

The Exterior Plan and Profile are the first and most influential views that the prospective boat builder will see. They constitute a visual, non-verbal, description of the design.

This drawing is all about appearance and cannot be reduced to a set of formulae or directions for constructing the boat. It presents the 'rightness' and 'fitness' of the design to you the potential boat builder.

During construction it will be a visual reference for the essence of the design. The drawing is scaleable and does locate the main feature on the exterior of the boat. For reference the person standing at the helm is 6'0" tall.
