SAILBOAT KITS
INTERIOR PLAN & PROFILE

INTERIOR PLAN & PROFILE

Since the arrangement on the port side is different then the starboard, two Interior Profiles drawings are provided.

The drawings visually show the location of the interior accommodations of the boat.

In the enlarged, plan view, below note the section lines cutting the hull transversely. These section cutting lines refer to another drawing know as the "Interior Sections" drawings.

There are three sections (29.000 - 41.500 - 128.5) which cut the hull at bulkhead locations, while the other three sections cut the hull a locations that in the designers eyes cut the hull at locations that best describe the interior (120.000 - 156.000 - 192.000). The final cut is at the cockpit bulkhead.

For example the section cut line of 156.0" cut the hull one hundred and fifty six inches aft of the foremost point of the boat. The direction of the cut line indicates that we will be looking forward when viewing the interior section at this location.
