TRANSOM

Transom Dimensions

Plans for the Bezier 28 plans include Transom Installation Dimensions.

Installing the transom onto the framework can be difficult for most homebuilders. The transom just seems to hang out there in space with no reference as to where to cut the longitudinal frames to position the transom.

To install the transom, first use the full size patterns and forming templates supplied with the Bezier 28 drawing package to shape and pre-form the transom.

Next refer to the above drawing to locate the position of the transom as it relates to the last transverse frame.
