TANG AND TANG ADAPTER DETAILS

Tang Adapters of stainless steel are used where stock fittings such as Sta-Lock wire terminal need to attach to chain plate and head stay connections.

Also shown in the drawing is a sample application for the use of a tang adapter. The application is for an upper shroud to chainplate.

Tang Adapters are easy to make. They are normally made from stainless steel flat bar. They are then formed to size by hand methods or a press break.
